Determine Reach? Measure or estimate the distance from the ground to the top of the highest point you plan to reach. The measuring point on the ground needs to take into consideration any flower beds, bushes, trees or slopes around the building that you may have to contend with. The best way to measure is to drop one end of a line from the highest window sill to the ground, then tying a knot at the window sill for measurement. When making your measurement, remember to add distance accordingly, for the angle and point you are on the ground.
